Phantom of the Opera Sequel in London

The sequel to Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom of the Opera, Love Never Dies, is in previews in London. They released this official video of the song Til' I Hear You Sing, which just blew me away. Ramin Karimloo plays the Phantom in the show and his co-star Sierra Boggess is Christine. Sierra Boggess was Ariel in the Broadway Little Mermaid.

Ramin is a hottie, and WOW that voice. Simply amazing.

We know the musical is set in New York and Coney Island. Still unanswered: Does the Phantom get laid this time?

Gerard Butler in Phantom II on London Stage??!!

According to UK’s Daily Express, Gerard, 38, is to star in a stage version of the sequel to The Phantom of the Opera.

Andrew Lloyd Webber wants to bring Gerry to the London stage as the Phantom, a role he played in the 2004 film. He said, “I have got my own new show coming on next year, which is my sequel to The Phantom of the Opera, which I think is going to be called Phantom: Once Upon Another Time. But that will come on in November next year, if everything goes well.”

A source reveals,“Because it’s a sequel to a film which helped the career rise of Gerard, Lord Andrew believes he will do it. There could be another film down the line. There’s a massive audience out there who love the original, another is that he could run the casting for the West End show as a film, too.”
