Vampires are big, very big, in case you didn't know. The fourth book in Stephenie Meyer's vampire book series, Breaking Dawn, comes out the first weekend in August, and the movie Twilight, based on the first book, is due out in December.
Also, in September, HBO's premiering the vampire show True Blood on September 7th.
True Blood is based on a series of novels by Charlaine Harris. It's set in a world where vampires have come out into the open, thanks to the development of synthetic blood that allows them to survive without feeding on humans.
Anna Paquin will star as a mind-reading waitress who's drawn to a vampire who arrives in her small Louisiana town.
LOVE the cover. Creepy and romantique all at the same time. As for True Blood...wow it is pretty good. The first show was leaked out on a torrent file over a month ago and I must say that it was a bit..hmmm...grrrrrrrr. A little more sexually charged than the actual book, but i guess sex sells and they had to grrr it up. Charlaine Harris is an amazing writer so i love her books even more, you gotta read it sometime.
